  • Migrated the legacy 837 claim processing solution used by First Data Authenticare product for Electronic Visit Verification from Biztalk server to a modern .NET-based solution using EdiFabric for State of Nevada and Texas. The new solution improved scalability, performance, and compliance with industry standards, enabling the state agencies to process claims faster and with greater accuracy.

  • As the Technical Lead for First Data AccessNet - Electronic Payment Engine, I spearheaded the development and deployment of a cutting-edge payment processing platform that is now used by 17 different agencies across California, including Employment Development Department (EDD), Board of Equalization (BOE), Franchise Tax Board (FTB), Department of Health Care Services (DHCS), California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC), State Controller Office (SCO), and others. The platform streamlined payment collection and processing, reduced errors and delays, and enhanced transparency and accountability for both the state and its constituents.

  • Worked as an Android mobile developer for First Data Authenticare product, where I contributed to the development of a HIPAA-compliant Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) solution that integrated agency administrative functions with provider home healthcare management. The solution improved patient care and reduced costs by automating key processes and providing real-time access to patient data.

  • As the Technical Product Lead for the First Data remitONE product (aka TaxPaymentPortal), I led the development of a payment processing solution that is used by over 40 financial institutions, including Bank of America and Wells Fargo. The solution enabled bank customers to make federal, state, and local tax payments in both standalone and single sign-on capacity, improving convenience and reducing errors and fraud. The solution is also used by states like North Carolina and New Jersey for EFT payment.

  • As the Technical Lead for California Child Support Core Interface Engine, Outreach activities, Onyx CRM, and Web/IVR pieces, I oversaw the development of several critical systems that improved child support services, outreach, and customer engagement. I also built a NACHA file cleanup tool that automated a manual process and saved time and effort for the agency. Most of the work was done using .NET, ensuring scalability, security, and compliance with industry standards.

  • Worked on different government projects ranging from State and Local Tax, Unemployment, Child Support, Do Not Call List, Call Center applications, to customer service-oriented applications. I rewrote several legacy apps, including IL Child Support IVR, New Jersey Commercial Recordings, and CT Department of Labor Unemployment GUI, to the latest Microsoft platform, improving performance, scalability, and user experience for the agency and its constituents.
